Slice of Life is a queer romance that deconstructs the "slice of life" genre, unpacking the importance of everyday narratives to tell a larger story about the meaning of life from the point of view of a fictional character. Issue 1 saw Yuriko/Lady Vengeance come to life and get her first taste of the life outside of a TV show. Issue 2 will see Yuriko and her future girlfriend, Lucy, get to know each other better as Yuriko adjusts to the freedom and uncertainly of real life. I hope you are having a great Tuesday! Mine is going well so far. I'm still catching up on life after this weekend. This weekend I went back to where it all began, the Steel City Con in Monroeville, PA! I have a fondness for the Steel City Con for many reasons. I've gone to the it many times in the past for enjoyment and have a lot of shared memories there with friends and family. However, it was also the first comic convention that I ever tabled at back in December 2017.
This was months after my first failed Kickstarter and gathering the funds from freelance work to finish Night Wolf #1. In September 2017, I was finally able to print my first issue of Night Wolf, but then I thought, "what was I going to do with them?" The Kickstarter had failed, and I still didn't have an audience. So, I thought I would test my luck at my local comic convention, the Steel City Con. I was able to get a table in artist alley and worked to make my table look as professional as possible. To make sure that I didn't have an empty table, I filled it with character prints and cover posters alongside the first issue of Night Wolf. That first con had 100 issues with me, and I sold 96 of them. This told me I had something that people would enjoy after all, giving me the confidence to continue down the path.
Now, sever years and issues later it's amazing to look back and see how far Lone Wolf Comics has come since that humble beginning. This weekend, I had two tables and still didn't have enough room for everything I brought with me! It feels great to be able to go back to the Steel City Con time and again to see the old Wolf Pack and meet new pack members in person. It's one of the best parts of traveling to cons. You all make this creative journey worth exploring! This weekend's convention was a blast and it's only the start of my con season. Hopefully, I will get to see you at a convention someday, like I met these awesome pack members below!

Yesterday the Wolf Pack clawed down the first Stretch Goal! This Stretch Goal unlocked NEW limited METAL COVER editions of Night Wolf #1-6 as add-ons or you can get all 6 as a NEW REWARD TIER! This is my second time offering metal covers. The first time was during my Snow Paw campaign. They turned out so great that I had to do it again with Night Wolf! These covers can be graded through both CGC and CBCS. These specialty covers will be produced by Faerie Metal Photography.

Sir Clancy Foxbottom is an emissary for one of the larger fur-focused conglomerates from England, tasked with assessing and reporting back on the lands, inhabitants and resources this new world represents for the Crown. This field guide is a collection of his sketches and findings from his days exploring the new world.
