Happy Friday my Wolf Pack!

I hope you are well! Things are going well here! My family and I spent a great Memorial Day holiday weekend together full of fun activities. It was a nice, much needed break from work and comics publishing. However, now I am back to being crazy busy, trying to play catch up, but it was worth the time we had together! I hope your weekend was fun and/or relaxing as well! Do you have any fun plans for this weekend? I have two tables at the 3 River Comicon at David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA. So, I'm excited because this is a fun two day convention that starts tomorrow with a ton of great comic talent from the big 2 pros to us indie folks. If you are in the area and plan to attend stop by and say, "Hi!"

Anyway, onto why you are really reading this update. I'm sure that I have left you in suspense for too long as it is ;) So, this week I received an update from my printer who said that the books are in the bindery, meaning they are getting bound together, and should be shipping hopefully by next week! I'm still waiting on some bonus rewards to come in, but they should all be in around the same time. I'm still waiting on my CGC order that I placed back in January to fill Mystery Boxes with, so those might be the only delay that I'm anticipating. For everything else I'm estimating that I will be able to start sending out physical rewards by June 20th. Remember, in order to get your physical and/or digital rewards you need to fill out your BackerKit Fulfillment Surveys. So, don't forget to fill them out by June 13th, so you can get all of your rewards without delay! If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or  requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit  project page at https://night-wolf-1-6.backerkit.com/.

During the Night Wolf #1-6 Kickstarter, the we unlocked a Stretch Goal revealing designs for a NEW Night Wolf Voodoo Doll Plushie based on art by Megan Affolter. At the time of campaign, I was looking for a vendor to work with, but recently I have found one to work with, the Skelton Crew Studio, and they have just sent over these pictures of the first prototype. Some of the details are just mocked up, but I think it's coming along nicely! What do you think? Please, leave a comment below!

Happy Friday the 13th my Wolf Pack!

I hope you are having a great start to the weekend! I just wanted to give a quick BackerKit Reward Fulfillment Survey and Digital Rewards delivery update. It's only been 2 days since I sent out all of the survey and 73% of you have already filled them out! Which is awesome, well done!

As for the Digital Rewards, in the past I had sent them out via Google Drive download links and sending them to you individually through Kickstarter messenger. During the Snow Paw #1 Kickstarter I tried out BackerKit's Digital Download storage and distribution, and it seemed to workout just fine. Therefore, I'm going to deliver the Digital Rewards again through Backerkit. This basically means that the download links will be distributed via emails from BackerKit once your survey has been filled out and locked on June 13th. So, make sure you check that your email addresses are correct and that you've filled out your survey to get your Digital Rewards!

Lords of LA Graphic Novel - Vampire, Mob, the 1950s

Vampires, the Mob, the 1950s, the Golden age of Hollywood - need I say more. The Lords of LA is a 48-page graphic novel.

Lords of LA is the story of three vampires. Two of them are as ancient as time itself, Don Cainella and Don Abellino, warring crime families who moved their operations to Los Angeles in the early 1950s during the golden age of Hollywood. There they have dealings with such icons as Marilyn Monroe and Buddy Holly.

One night during their nightly visit to the club Silk, they heard an angelic performance by a half-Asian lounge singer, named Lena Morgan. This is her story as much as theirs. One of them turned her and ruined her life. Her son was a newborn and not knowing whether she could trust her bloodlust impulses, she left Los Angeles for sixty years. During that time, she amassed money, power, and a plan for vengeance.

Moving back to Los Angeles in 2006, she developed a relationship with a mob family and put herself on a collision course with Abellino and Cainella, disrupting their operations and cash flow. She visited her son, who was now sixty years and a grandfather.  Of course, he had no idea who she was. Lords of LA traverses time within the pages of this graphic novel that includes, sex, bloody-soaked violence, and plot twists that will keep you looking for more. the pages of the 1950s will have a tan background, while the pages that take place in 2006 will have a blue background, so you can always keep track of what's going on in the story. Click here to check out the Kickstarter!

As always, thank you so much for joining me on this creative journey! Have a great rest of your day!

BackerKit Reward Fulfillment Surveys!
almost 2 years ago – Tue, May 10, 2022 at 05:42:09 AM

Good day my Wolf Pack!

Great news, the funds have arrived from Kickstarter and BackerKit has approved the fulfillment survey! Therefore, I will be sending Night Wolf #6 off to the printer today and sending out the fulfillment surveys tomorrow morning! However, before I can send surveys to everyone, BackerKit requires me to send a Smoke Test to a random 5% of backers across all pledge levels. However, I have just completed that step, so some of you will have already received the email with a special link to your BackerKit survey, and the rest of you will get yours tomorrow after the 24 hours is up. Remember to check your spam/junk boxes if you don't see the email in your Inbox.

Night Wolf Armor Colors

Carlos finished coloring the new Night Wolf armored design for issue 7. I think it came out great and I hope you like it too! Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Cannibals on Mars - A Sci-Fi Horror One Shot Comic

Space horror pulp fiction with bite. Cannibals on Mars works up a voracious appetite w/ sex, violence, and interstellar politics.

CANNIBALS ON MARS is a 48 page, perfect-bound, one-shot that delivers blood-soaked space horror that comic fans can really sink their teeth into.

Ever since the ancients fixed their gaze skyward, human beings have marveled at the planets stretched before them. Heretics, heroes, science, and sacrifice all advanced our understanding of the stars, until finally, in 2027, earthlings established the first functioning colony on another planet.

The RH7 Colonies on Mars: a terraforming series of interconnected outposts inhabited by a bold set of international astronauts, scientists, engineers, and psychologists. Their mission was twofold: to develop a sustainable environment for eventual, large-scale migration and to prove that human beings--despite their differences, could work together to create a fledgling new society built on trust, camaraderie, and the common good.

Then all communication from earth was cut off. The colonists continued their mission. They thrived. They survived. They lived, loved, and lost. Five years passed. And now here we are…CANNIBALS ON MARS! Click here to check out the Kickstarter!

Thank You For An Amazing Campaign & Next Steps!
about 2 years ago – Fri, Apr 22, 2022 at 03:45:33 AM

Good day my Wolf Pack!

I want to say how grateful that I am for you, my Wolf Pack members! Thank you, so much for being a part of this ongoing series. The Night Wolf #1-6 Kickstarter was successful because of you! This was my highest funded KS yet! Thank you for an AMAZING campaign! You Wolf Pack Members ARE THE BEST! I couldn't have done it without you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me continue my dream of making comic books! There is still more Night Wolf stories to be told and you are part of making that happen! I'm so very thankful that you are taking this creative journey with me! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

What Are the Next Steps?

A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment. Here's a quick rundown:

First, Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds, so that I have the money to make the rewards (this can take up to three weeks). Kickstarter has notified me that some of the payments were declined. If funds fall behind the unlocked Milestone and Stretch Goal thresholds, I won't be able to place the orders for the bonus rewards. Please double check your payment method in your Kickstarter account, so you can get your rewards and so that we can keep all of the unlocked Milestones and Stretch Goals.

Second, I need to find out your reward delivery information to send out your rewards. I will be sending you all a Reward Delivery Survey through BackerKit to collect this information.

I will give you a heads-up before sending the survey, so that you can watch for it in your email or spam folder. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as possible, since we need this information to process your rewards.

If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after I send the surveys out.)

If you prefer, you can contact me directly and give me your information, but answering your survey helps me get your rewards out to you faster. BackerKit helps me to save a lot of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing me with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log into your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact me.

Again, thank you all for your support. I can’t wait to send out your Night Wolf rewards!

Always your loyal pack mate,

Rob
